With all parts removed the plastic roller is fitted to eliminate window rattle

Here is my door of the Eunos roadster taken apart. It started with the door rattling and the soft top leaking. I was able to stop the window rattling with a new roller. It was quite easy to fit once all the parts are removed.

The roof has been leaking and part of this is one of many things. I waterproofed the roof which helped. The new roller meant that the window was firmer on the door seals so helped. Last I always clean and re-grease the rubber seals around the window with silicon grease.

It is worth taking time to change the two belts to make your car reliable

I have just bought the car and although it had a service history. If you look at the belts from the external they seemed okay. When taken off you can see the cracks on the belts. This could be leading to a brake at some point. Rather than being stranded at the side of the road I decided to replace them.

Tyre information pressure and oil capacity decal sticker

I have placed an advert on ebay and can supply stickers for your car too. I found that when servicing my cars and bikes. I often have to search for the details. It would take me a while and although some cars have the stickers. They are often general or do not have the oil capacity information which would help in servicing.

I designed a new roof rack for the Mazda, mx5 or Eunos, Miata roadster. I have shown pictures of it carrying a Kayak, surf board, push bike. It might even carry a light boat on top of the soft top roof.

I want it to carry bikes, Mountain bikes, Road bikes, Surf boards, Windsurf boards, Canoes, Kayaks etc.

Roof rack for a convertable What can you carry on your Mazda or Miata

One of the benefits of a sports car is to enjoy the summer weather or at least no rain. At the same time having a interest in cycling leads up to a choice. This made me wonder why there was not better methods to carry recreational items on the Eunos Miata or Mazda mx5. The pure enjoyment of the car can be lost though with carrying bikes, canoes or surf boards to the beach. Other cars that have the space to just lay the items in the back like estates or jeeps can be practical but not as nice to drive as a convertible.

I set out to make a roof rack design that would make use of other manufacturers roof rack designs. Be simple and strong so that owners of soft tops can make better use of carrying more items with their cars and not leaving them at home.
